1. Early Morning Medical Consultation

Location: Dr. A. Suryadinata’s Clinic, Jakarta

Activity:
At around 04:00 AM, I visited Dr. A. Suryadinata for a medical consultation regarding swelling and pain in my foot. Dr. Suryadinata is a general practitioner who is approximately 90 years old, and I have been receiving medical care from him since 2019. Despite his age, he continues to provide medical consultation based on his long experience and longstanding understanding of my medical history.

The consultation focused on evaluating the condition of my swollen and painful foot and determining the appropriate next step for further examination.

2. Coordination of Hospital Referral

Location: Jakarta

Activity:
After the consultation, I coordinated the referral process to RSPPN for further examination by an orthopedic specialist. The referral was intended to obtain a more specific assessment of the cause of the swelling and pain in my foot.

The orthopedic clinic operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so the referral process was coordinated with the specialist's schedule.

3. Prescription Medicine

Location: Roxy Mangga Besar Pharmacy, Jakarta

Activity:
I went to a pharmacy in Roxy Mangga Besar to obtain the medicines prescribed by the doctor. This was part of the immediate treatment plan while preparing for further examination by an orthopedic specialist.

4. Monitoring the Condition of My Foot

Location: Home

Activity:
After receiving treatment and medication, I monitored the condition of my foot. The swelling had begun to decrease, which was a positive sign, although the pain was still present. I continued to observe the condition and remained prepared to seek further medical evaluation if necessary.

Reflection:

The main lesson from today was the importance of responding to a health problem early rather than allowing it to develop without proper evaluation. The sequence of consultation, referral coordination, medication, and monitoring provided a practical reminder that maintaining health requires both immediate action and appropriate follow-up.

The experience also reinforced the value of having trusted medical professionals who understand one's medical history over a long period of time. At the same time, when a condition requires more specialized assessment, it is important to move beyond initial treatment and seek the appropriate specialist.

From a broader perspective, maintaining physical readiness is essential for professional responsibility, leadership, and long-term personal goals. Health should therefore be treated not merely as a personal matter, but as one of the foundations that enables consistent performance and continued contribution.
