1. Routine Cardiology Check-up

Location: RSPPN (National Defense Central Hospital), Jakarta

Visited my cardiologist for a routine medical check-up to monitor my heart condition and overall recovery. During the consultation, the doctor emphasized the importance of maintaining a regular exercise routine, particularly by using a stationary bicycle. This form of low-impact aerobic exercise helps strengthen the heart, improve cardiovascular endurance, and reduce the risk of further complications while remaining safe for cardiac patients.

Reflection:
Good health is the foundation of effective leadership and service. Consistent medical follow-ups, combined with disciplined exercise and healthy habits, are essential investments for maintaining long-term physical readiness.

2. Tahlilan and Strategic Discussion on Bureaucratic Reform

Location: Residence of the Late Parents of Lt. Gen. Tri Budi Utomo, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense, Jakarta

Attended the Tahlilan (memorial prayer gathering) in remembrance of the late parents of Lt. Gen. Tri Budi Utomo, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense. Besides paying respect to the bereaved family, the gathering also became an opportunity for valuable professional discussions.

During the event, I had a constructive conversation with Brig. Gen. David Sanggam Tampubolon regarding Bureaucratic Reform in support of Indonesia's Non-Military Defense Strategy. I shared my observation that two important elements: the implementation period (timeline) and the operational locus (institutional scope). Brig. Gen. David welcomed the feedback and kindly shared his presentation materials for my further review. We agreed to continue the discussion after I had studied the document.

Reflection:
Meaningful strategic discussions can take place beyond formal meetings. Constructive feedback and continuous intellectual exchange are essential to developing stronger defense policies that are practical, well-defined, and effectively implemented.
